I tried oils and abstract art !

Hello! I woke up this morning and I knew I had a quest : going to the supply store, buy canvas and oil paints. And I fullfilled my quest! I like testing new things, and today I want to share with you what I made. BUT beware, it's not the kind of stuffs I draw/paint usually! The first 3 ones are made with acrylics, I began those a long time ago and today I felt inspired. They are 30x30cm x2 + 18x24cm. The second one is what I made with my all new oil paints, 60x80cm. It's unusuall for me to work with those paints, and moreover to paint abstract, but I must admitt I really enjoyed it! I had a lot of fun (isn't it the more important?), and I think that when it will be dry (in a year or so ;______; ) I will proudly expose it on a wall! I thinks I'm gonna retry very soon! Hope you like it, even if you're not used to see that kind of stuffs on my blog ;p

  1. Oil paints can take from 2-3 weeks to 2-3 months to dry. That all depends on if you used any paint thinners that actually can help speed up its ability to dry. And also how thick you put the paint in some areas. Also after it's dry it is suggested that you put a special varnish that does over oil paints to keep it from cracking in the future.

Just keep it up and out of the way from anything that could touch it.
